Schipper Campground, Idaho   The Schipper's, Jack & George were my Uncles.ÿ I was there about ten years ago. I have picture of George horseback and know a few tales of their adventures there learned from their sister, my mother Anna Schipper Vos. Mrs Crowley if she still lives, knew them Says Evelyn Ruth Vos A few years ago, my brother, myself and our wives went camping and fishing in Idaho. Schipper Campground was the only place we caught any fish and we limited out there. Across the stream was some frontier remains. Very pretty spot. Quite a coincidence since George     Schipper was a Idaho pioneer and our great uncle. He retired in Florida and lived into his 90's. Says Al Orman At Schipper Campground you always meet someone from Twin Falls; some nearby water includes Deer Creek. Schipper Campground gets very little precipitation; the month of November is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest of the months is July. Whitewater paddling is tremendous on Snake River, and Buckbrush Flats is a pleasant place here at Schipper Campground. Paddling on Wilson River is so much fun. This campground has so much enjoyable stuff to offer. Magic Mountain has great slopes and a friendly staff; Niagara Springs State Park is a great location to stop at. All through the days of summer here at Schipper Campground, high temperatures typically get into the 80's, and the overnight is rather   cooler of course, ordinarily in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's, and nighttime lows all through the wintertime for Schipper Campground tend to be in the 10's.
