  Salmon River Campground is a campground that is enormously prized by the people of Stanley. Some people stay here when going to Challis National Forest. Salmon River Campground is right next door to Challis National Forest which is a gorgeous spot, and Mormon Bend is a splendid spot to visit while in the area. It is very dried out here at Salmon River Campground ordinarily; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most snow, and July is the month with the least moisture.
If you adore the outdoors, you won’t be saddened; there's swimming,
    fishing, hiking, and whitewater paddling, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen. The Salmon River Mountains scenery is always stunning. Here at Salmon River Campground there are plenty of people from Stanley, and since you're here you can take a hike along
the Yellow Belly Trail.
There's such a vast number of things to do near Salmon River Campground, and you always have a nice time when you're here. Coming to this campground is always a brilliant idea. When you're here at Salmon River Campground it's always fun to go to Sawtooth National Forest; some close by water includes Little Casino Creek.
All the outdoors amusing stuff in the Salmon River Mountains will keep you coming back many times. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Salmon River Mountains. You'll find a wonderful lake called Casino Lakes
 
near Salmon River Campground, and if you come at the right time of year, Salmon River offers some good whitewater.

Idaho is a nice outdoors state. The magnificent variety of local attractions and all the outdoors recreation will beyond doubt have you coming back repeatedly. There's just no way anyone can get bored here at Salmon River Campground. Going for a hike along the Bull Moose Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Salmon River.
Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Salmon River Campground, and during the night it cools down to the 30's. For the period of the winter highs are commonly in the 20's; after the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures at Salmon River Campground sink into the-10's.
