Cascade State Park is worth visiting if you're at Sage Hen Campground, and there's always Sage Hen Dam to take a look at in close proximity to Sage Hen Campground. With so many things to do in Idaho you'll
never get bored. You're sure to run into some smiling folks from Ola here, and the Pine Creek Meadow Trail is a magnificent hiking trail nearby.
There's a heap of outdoors recreation available nearby such as swimming, whitewater paddling, fishing, and hiking, so in all probability
you want to stick around for a while. This campground has so much amusing stuff to offer. Going for a hike on the Little Sage Hen Ridge Trail is always a pleasant adventure, and there's some flowing water close by, Joes Creek is a stream you can visit while here.
And if that's
not enough there's a lot more exciting stuff to do in the Salmon River Mountains. There's whitewater on Payette River - North Fork for all you adrenaline people; a visit here wouldn’t be complete without a visit to close by Boise National Forest. So much enjoyable stuff to do at
Sage Hen Campground, so little time.
Summer at Sage Hen Campground comes with high temperatures in the 90's. All through the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Sage Hen Campground temperatures fall to the 10's.
