the 80's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 40's. During the winter the highs are regularly in the 30's with temperatures at Sack Creek Campground dipping down into the 10's throughout winter nights. But wait, there's more to do in close proximity to Sack Creek Campground. Take a hike on the Camptender Trail, and soar down the rapids of Salmon River - Middle Fork in a kayak.
And that's not all there is to do here in the Salmon River Mountains. Hiking along the Kirkham Ridge Trail is tremendous fun; Challis National Forest is a wonderful place
 
to go. Have a great hiking adventure along the Sulphur Creek Trail; if you come at the right time of year, Payette River - South Fork offers some great whitewater. From a rainfall point of view Sack Creek Campground is a rather normal place; January is the month that gets the most snow, and July on the other hand is the driest.
You've been indoors for too much time, you need to get out of the house, and Sack Creek Campground, Idaho is a splendid place for getting out. In Idaho you never run out of outdoors amusing stuff. This is a magnificent campground.
