Clearwater National Forest is a good place to go if you're at Ruby Creek Campground, and if the weather is good, you can go for a hike along the Trout Creek Stock Driveway. This is a good campground. A lake close by is Heather Lake, and since you're here you can take a hike along the Colgate Licks Nature National Recreation Trail.
