This primitive campground is located in an unbelievably pretty place, and as expected it could be difficult to get to a primitive campground like this one, but it's worth the effort. Camping out unquestionably is a fun thing to do, and Ruby Creek Campground, Idaho is a perfect spot for getting
 
    out.
Such a wonderful selection of attractions and so much to do will make you glad you came. The Bitterroot Range scenery is always beautiful.

Some activities here at Ruby Creek Campground are fishing, swimming, hiking,
 and whitewater paddling, so perhaps you want to stick around for a while. Scores of folks stay here to be in the neighborhood of Clearwater National Forest. While visiting this area in Idaho it's a perfect idea to go for a camping trip too.
Nearby you encounter the Clayton Creek to Kelly Forks Campground segment, a class III-IV stretch of whitewater. It's a great 10-mile-from-beginning-to-end stretch on Kelly Creek. Taken as a whole this stretch of Kelly
 
    Creek is an enjoyable place for kayak paddling. Don't go kayak paddling ahead of first checking current conditions; it's risky business. Don't forget to take a great little visit to Ruby Creek, and at Ruby Creek Campground you can
  see Ruby Point. This place, the Bitterroot Range, has so much outdoors fun things. Clearwater National Forest is a good place to go if you're at Ruby Creek Campground, and if the weather is good, you can go for a hike along the Trout Creek Stock Driveway. This is a good campground. A lake close by is Heather Lake, and since you're here you can take a hike along the Colgate Licks Nature National Recreation Trail.
