Reeder Bay Campground, Idaho

All through the warm months highs here at Reeder Bay Campground get into the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 30's with temperatures at Reeder Bay Campground dipping down into the 10's during winter nights. If you come at the right time of year, Priest River offers some
    delightful whitewater.
The amount of rain that falls at Reeder Bay Campground is close to the national average; the month with most of the snow is December; July is when it's the driest. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Schweitzer if you're here, and
a visit to Reeder Bay is always a wonderful idea.
Pack your tent and sleeping bag and head out on the road; Reeder Bay Campground in Idaho is a great place to go. Some of the things you can do here at Reeder Bay Campground are whitewater paddling, and hiking, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen.

for sure. A quick journey to Reeder Creek right next door to Reeder Bay Campground is a magnificent idea, and spots like Priest Lake State Park are delightful to go to. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Priest River, and Kaniksu National Forest is a nice spot.
You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the enjoyable things at Reeder Bay Campground. There are good places to explore along the Hanna Flast Nature Trail; Reeder Bay Campground is not far at all from Nordman. Don't leave Reeder Bay Campground without first going for a hike along the Chipmunk Rapids National Recreation Trail; there's whitewater on Smith Creek for all you adrenaline people. Reeder Bay Campground is an old favorite with the folks in Nordman.
Camping in Idaho is such a fun thing to do.
