| | Red River Campground is in a fairly open flat area with a? creek suitable for bathing running through it. Also fire pits, outhouses and sites spaced far apart for adequate privacy. Some sites have a tree or two nearby for shade. Says Curtis Jackson (see picture)

You really can't spend too much time indoors; you have to get out of the house occasionally, and Red River Campground is a nice local campground if you happen to be in Idaho. over and over. Nez Perce National Forest is a great location to stretch your legs a bit, and Red River Campground is right by the Nez Perce Trail. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Clearwater Mountains. Clearwater National Forest

is a pretty place any time of year; the Chamberlain Trail offers hiking at its best. Coming to this campground is always a great idea. Soda Creek is a stream that you may run into while here. Take a hike on the Three Blaze Trail, and splendid hiking is available along the Meadow Creek National Recreation Trail. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Red River Campground; Anderson Butte National Recreation Trail is a great local trail.
