A tour to Salmon National Forest when you're here at Raven Creek Campground is never a bad idea, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Moose Creek. There's no way somebody can get bored here in the Clearwater Mountains. Going for a hike on the Old Nez Perce Trail is always a great adventure. There   are pleasant places to look at along the Nez Perce Trail; do schedule some time to explore Beaver Point if you have a chance. Don't leave Raven Creek Campground without first going for a hike along the South Route Old Nez Perce Trail; naturally Raven Creek is a wonderful stream that is worth checking out. There's such an incredible array of things to do in close proximity to Raven Creek Campground, and it's always fun to be at this campground. If you fancy the outdoors, you won’t be disappointed; there's hiking, and whitewater paddling, so you won’t get bored. Through the summertime at Raven Creek Campground highs are generally in the 80's. During the moonlight hours it's generally in the 40's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 30's, and nighttime lows at Raven Creek Campground during the winter commonly drop into the 10's.
