Rattlesnake Campground, Salmon River Mountains, Idaho

  Not much rainfall falls here at Rattlesnake Campground; the month with most of the snow is December, and the driest month of the year is July. It's been too much time since you went outside, and Rattlesnake Campground is a fine local campground if you happen to be in Idaho. This camp ground is to be found in the wonderful Salmon River Mountains.
Get wet paddling on Payette River - Middle Fork. On a brilliant day at Rattlesnake Campground you can take a hike along the One Spoon Way; a spree to Hardscrabble Pasture invigorates the soul.

    cool things in the Salmon River Mountains will keep you coming back over and over. Going to Boise National Forest in the neighborhood of Rattlesnake Campground is a great thing to do, and going for a hike on the Air Line Trail is always a nice adventure. Rattlesnake Campground
is a very popular old favorite campground among folks in Cascade. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Salmon River Mountains. Near Rattlesnake Campground you stumble on the Sixmile Trail which is a brilliant hiking trail, and Rattlesnake Campground is not far at all from Cascade.
This campground is so great. Rocky Canyon is a good place to spend some time at, and everybody close by loves skiing at Tamarack. The Lightning Creek Trail is a pleasant hiking trail in close proximity to Rattlesnake Campground, and if you come at the right time of year, Payette
 
River - South Fork offers some great whitewater. There's such a vast number of things to do at Rattlesnake Campground including hiking, and whitewater paddling, so you won’t run out of things to do.
The glorious local attractions and all the outdoors recreation will make you happy you came. For the duration of the warm months, highs generally are in the 80's at Rattlesnake Campground with nighttime lows in the 40's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 20's, and nighttime lows at Rattlesnake Campground throughout the wintertime typically descend into the 10's. Rattlesnake Campground is situated in a region with lots of entertaining stuff to do, and it is a fine escape from the city.
You believe that's enough? Just getting warmed up. Rattlesnake Creek is a pleasant place to stop at, and soar down the rapids of Payette River - Middle Fork in a kayak. Several folks choose Rattlesnake Campground in order to be near Boise National Forest.
This is a great campground. Go for a hike on the Bear Wallow Trail; Cascade State Park is a good spot to check out on a wonderful day. Camping in Idaho is such an enjoyable thing to do.
