This is a tremendous campground. Do set aside some time for Timothy Flats while you're here at Race Creek Campground, and nearby you come across the Meadow Creek National Recreation Trail which is a good hiking trail. along the Anderson Butte National Recreation Trail. All the outdoors enjoyable things in the Clearwater Mountains will keep you coming back over and over. A delightful spot like Clearwater National Forest right next door to Race Creek Campground is too splendid to leave out,
and a perfect place for whitewater paddling is Selway River. Race Creek Campground is situated in a neighborhood with loads of fun things to do; when you are here for a while you will feel like a whole new person. Race Creek Campground is a good place of normal rain; January
is when you get the most snow here; July is the month with the least moisture. Take a little journey to Race Creek if you're here at Race Creek Campground, and you can go for a hike on the Elk Creek Trail. Idaho has loads of outdoors activities.
