Going for a hike on the Hot Springs Creek Trail is always a magnificent adventure, and an out of the ordinary thing to take a look at right next door to Powerplant Campground is Greene Tree Dam. always fun to take a look at Challis National Forest, and a day on the slopes of Soldier Mountain Ski Resort is just what you need. Summertime highs at Powerplant Campground frequently tend to be in the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. The wintertime
comes with highs in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Powerplant Campground are in the 10's. The glorious local attractions and all the outdoors recreation will positively have you coming back time and again. The Sawtooth Range scenery is always delightful. There's
just no way anybody can get bored here at Powerplant Campground. Sawtooth National Forest is both wonderful and scenic, and it's in the neighborhood of Powerplant Campground, of course you could also have a look at Leggit Lake if you're here; it's not far at all. Whohoo, so
much fun stuff in one place! The Sawtooth Range rocks! Go for a hike on the Bull Moose Trail, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Payette River - South Fork.
