At Point Campground exciting stuff to do is abundant; it is a delightful escape from the mundane. This campground is so nice. Sawtooth National Forest is a pretty place any time of year, and going for a hike along the Bull Moose Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood. A pleasant place for whitewater paddling in close proximity to Point Campground is Salmon River, and a charming lake like Redfish |
Lake is a great location to pop by. It's been too long since you went outside, you have to get out of the house; Point Campground in Idaho is a delightful selection. Through the summer months, highs commonly are in the 70's at Point Campground. Summer overnight lows plunge
| down to the 30's. For the period of the winter highs are usually in the 20's, and night lows at Point Campground during the winter ordinarily plunge into the-10's. A number of people choose this campground to be close to Challis National Forest. At Point Campground you don’t see much rainfall; the month of December is the wettest with most of the snow, and July on the other hand is the driest. is great here at Point Campground, you can go for a hike along the Yellow Belly Trail, and of course Fishhook Creek is a beautiful stream that is worth checking out. Outdoors recreation is abundant, some of the entertaining stuff you can do is fishing, whitewater paddling, hiking,
and swimming, so you won’t get bored. This is no location for people who don’t like to have fun. Get your pulse rate up on the good whitewater of Salmon River. The fine selection of local attractions, and the nearby outdoors recreation will absolutely have you coming back over and over.
