| | You could experience the great outdoors at its most excellent at primtive campgrounds such as Point Campground. Of course there are restrooms here, and water hookups are available here. The Stanley to Old Sunbeam Dam portion is a nice 13-mile-long category III-IV run of whitewater on Salmon River. This portion of Salmon River is a mid difficulty run for raft paddling. Naturally, raft paddling is cool but perilous; check current conditions ahead of going. Hiking along the Yellow Belly Trail is good fun; Sawtooth National Forest is a good spot.
