| | This is such a stunning campground. Round Lake State Park is worth a visit if you're at Peterson Campground, and there is a delightful hiking trail nearby called the Leiberg-Athol Trail. Summertime highs at Peterson Campground frequently tend to be in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Peterson Campground are in the 10's. There are delightful locations to explore along the Upper Declaration Trail, and the cheerful people of Bayview like to hang out close by.
