Salmon section is 13 miles long. If you don’t want to risk getting drenched this segment of Rapid River is in all probability not for you. Don't go whitewater rafting and kayaking in advance of first checking restrictions; it's hazardous

matter. Sunflower Flat is a wonderful site to check out, and let's not forget Marble Creek which is a stream that you may stumble upon while you're here. And if that's not sufficient there's plenty more entertaining stuff to do in the Salmon River Mountains. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop by close by Josephus Lake.
