| | This campground is a delightful location to visit. Get soaked paddling on Salmon River - Yankee Fork, and hiking along the Yellow Belly Trail is wonderful fun. There's such a vast number of things to do at Lower O'Brien Campground including whitewater paddling, swimming, hiking, and fishing, so running out of enjoyable things to do won’t happen. Through the summertime at Lower O'Brien Campground temperatures are mostly in the 70's. Summer night lows sink down to the 30's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's; through the dark hours in the wintertime |
at Lower O'Brien Campground temperatures dip to the-10's. The perfect variety of local attractions and the close by outdoors recreation will absolutely have you coming back again and again. Camping in Idaho is such an enjoyable activity. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this
| location. Muley Creek is a tremendous location to stop at. It's very unhealthy to spend too much time in the city; you need to get out of the house occasionally, and Lower O'Brien Campground in Idaho is such a perfect place. Several folks stay at this campground when they come to visit Challis National Forest. Whitewater paddling is brilliant on Salmon River; when you're here it's always fun to have a look at Sawtooth National Forest. A lake nearby is Elk Lake, and Lower O'Brien Campground is near Challis National Forest which is a pretty location. | |

There is so much cool stuff to do in the vicinity of Lower O'Brien Campground, and loads of people are fond of coming here to escape. And that's not everything there is to do here in the Salmon River Mountains. Drift down the rapids of Salmon River in a kayak; you can have a nice
hiking adventure along the Bull Moose Trail. Lower O'Brien Campground is pretty dried up ordinarily; most of the snow falls all through December, and July is the month with the least moisture.
