Among the things you can do near Lodgepole Campground are hiking, and whitewater paddling, so you won’t run out of things to do. So much exciting stuff to do here in the Salmon River Mountains, too perfect to be true. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Salmon River -
    South Fork, and there's some flowing water close by, Fourmile Creek is a stream you can visit while here.
All year is a brilliant time in the Salmon River Mountains if you adore the outdoors. Going for a hike on the Blackmare Trail is always a glorious adventure. The good local
attractions and all the outdoors recreation are glorious incentives to come.
Scores of people select this campground in order to be in the neighborhood of Payette National Forest. If you want a pleasant time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Lodgepole Campground. A journey to Ponderosa State Park when you're here at Lodgepole Campground is a delightful idea, and there is a brilliant hiking trail close by called the Miners Peak Trail. A tremendous spot like Payette National Forest in the vicinity of Lodgepole Campground is too wonderful
 
to leave out, and if the weather is perfect, you can go for a hike along the Eagle Rock Trail.
In Idaho you never run out of outdoors exciting stuff. At Lodgepole Campground entertaining stuff to do is plentiful, and it is one of a lot of good campgrounds in this area. There are some great whitewater spots on Salmon River - South Fork, and on a pleasant day you can take a hike along the Camp Creek Cutoff Trail.
All through the long summer days at Lodgepole Campground temperatures are mostly in the 70's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 30's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 30's while Lodgepole Campground overnight low temperatures throughout the wintertime are in the 0's. You have to get out of the house, and Lodgepole Campground, Idaho is a good spot for getting out.
