Little Soldier Campground, Salmon River Mountains, Idaho   There is so much exciting stuff to do in the vicinity of Little Soldier Campground; spending time at this campground is fantastically pleasant. Don't leave Little Soldier Campground     without going to Challis National Forest, and why not head up to Soldier Mountain Ski Resort and strap some skis to your feet. So many local attractions and the nearby outdoors recreation are fine reasons to come. This camp ground is one of the pleasant spots to camp here in the Salmon River Mountains. Through the days of summer at Little Soldier Campground temperatures are generally in the 70's while overnight lows are frequently in the 30's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's while Little Soldier Campground nighttime low temperatures through the winter are in the 0's. If you are in Idaho throughout camping season, you should go camping. Little Soldier Campground gets a typical amount of rainfall; January is when you get the most snow here, and July meanwhile is the driest month. Be   careful coming to the Salmon River Mountains, you might not ever wanna go back home again. Whitewater paddling is good on Loon Creek, and the Monumental Trail is a fine hiking trail close by. Don’t forget to pop by Sunflower Flat while you're here at Little Soldier Campground, and since you're here you can take a hike along the Shellrock Ridge Trail. This campground is so nice. In the event that you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Salmon River - Middle Fork; close by you stumble on the Milk Creek Trail which is a good hiking trail. Some close by water includes Little Soldier Creek; if the weather is splendid, you can go for a hike along the Big Baldy Ridge Trail. This is such a nice campground. There's a lot of outdoors recreation available close by such as hiking, and whitewater paddling, so it's just not possible to get bored. Hey, it's about time you went camping, don't you think?
