River - South Fork; it's a great idea to go to Middle Fork Lime Creek. This is a popular spot for folks from Hill City, and you could always discover Ellis Gulch. Three Island Crossing State Park is both good and scenic, and it's near Lime Creek Campground, and Lime Creek Campground is right by the Hot Springs Creek Trail.
