| | This campground is a gorgeous place to visit. Good hiking is available along the Yellow Belly Trail, and Challis National Forest is a good location to stretch your legs a bit. So many local attractions and such a good variety of outdoors recreation are perfect reasons to come. There's such a large number of things to do at Lake View Campground including hiking, whitewater paddling, swimming, and fishing, so probably you want to stay a while. sink down into the 40's. Through the winter the highs are mostly in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Lake View Campground. This camp ground is one of the wonderful places to camp here in the Sawtooth Range. Lots of folks stay here when they come to visit
| Challis National Forest. There is a splendid hiking trail close to Lake View Campground called the Bull Moose Trail; why not go to Stanley Lake Fish Barrier Dam since you're here. If you want a great time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Sawtooth Range. Go for a hike on the Blue Bunch Trail; Sawtooth National Forest is a lovely place any time of year. These mountains rock, just check out all the enjoyable things to do in the Sawtooth Range. A nice location for whitewater paddling right next door to Lake View Campground is Marsh Creek. | |
