There are some great whitewater spots on Payette River - North Fork; hiking along the Fall Creek Trail is tremendous fun. Browns Pond Dam has good water scenery and it's close to Lake Fork Campground, and do take a hike on the Boulder Lake Trail.
There's plenty of outdoors recreation available in the vicinity such as swimming, hiking, whitewater paddling, and fishing, so most likely you want to stick around. This is no
    location for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. When you're here at Lake Fork Campground it's always fun to visit Payette National Forest, needless to say you could also pop by Anderson Lake if you're here; it's not far at all.
