There aren't a lot of facilities at Lafferty Campground as it is a primitive campground. The natural loveliness at this primitive campground is wonderful, and primitive campgrounds like these is an outstanding way to get out in the outdoors. This camp ground is to be found in the wonderful Wallowa Mountains. Some activities here at Lafferty Campground       are swimming, fishing, whitewater paddling, playing golf, and hiking, so you won’t get bored. All the tremendous local attractions in close proximity and all the outdoors recreation are certain to keep you coming back repeatedly.   If you are in Idaho throughout camping season, you ought to go camping. There's such a vast number of things to do near Lafferty Campground, and it is a very perfect campground. On nearby Wildhorse River you come upon a type III-IV sweep of whitewater; the Bear Creek Bridge to Snake River confluence section is 14 miles long. This sweep of Wildhorse River is appropriate for whitewater boaters who have been kayak paddling for a while but who are not yet       set for the incredibly perilous rapids. Don't go kayak paddling ahead of first checking conditions; it's perilous matter. Near Lafferty Campground you stumble on the Rapid River Trail which is a splendid hiking trail. You'll stumble   on a wonderful lake called Lost Valley Reservoir near Lafferty Campground, and don't leave Lafferty Campground without first going for a hike along the Red Ledge Trail. This is such a wonderful campground. Dick Ross Creek is a magnificent spot to go to, and pleasant hiking is available along the Summit Creek Trail.
