| | Lafferty Campground is a tremendous camp ground to use as a base while enjoying the Wallowa Mountains. Among the things you can do close to Lafferty Campground are whitewater paddling, and hiking, so it's impossible to get bored. This is such a fine campground. Get covered with water paddling on Snake River, and do take a hike on the Red Ledge Trail. It is very dried out here at Lafferty Campground mostly; all through the month of December you get the most snow around here; the driest month of the year is July. There are so many amusing things |
to do right next door to Lafferty Campground, and it is a fun place for the whole family. Soar down the rapids of Little Salmon River in a kayak, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Lafferty Campground; Deep Creek Trail is a good local trail. Just can't get enough of
| the Wallowa Mountains. If you're here, you might as well take a look at Coyote Gulch, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Sheep Rock National Recreation Trail. Idaho is a magnificent place for campers. You shouldn't spend all your time indoors; you have to get out every now and then, and Lafferty Campground is a magnificent local campground if you happen to be in Idaho. All the great local attractions in close proximity and such a great variety of outdoors recreation will make you glad you came. If only every place had this much outdoors | |

amusing things, what a great world it would be. Whitewater paddling is wonderful on Wildhorse River, and you can have a good hiking adventure along the Summit Creek Trail. All through the warm months highs here at Lafferty Campground get into the 90's. Summer overnight lows plunge
down to the 50's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Lafferty Campground. And that's not all you can do here in the Wallowa Mountains. Take a side visit to Dick Ross Creek, and there's tremendous hiking along the Rapid River Trail.
