| | This campground is so stunning. Get your heart beating on the delightful whitewater of Lochsa River, and a day on the slopes of Lookout Pass is just what you need. From a rain point of view Knife Edge Campground is a relatively normal place; most of the snow falls during January, and the driest of the months is July. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Knife Edge Campground; the nighttime is a tad cooler of course, commonly in the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's while Knife Edge Campground nighttime low temperatures through |
the winter are in the 10's. Knife Edge Campground is to be found in the Clearwater Mountains. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this location. Hiking along the East Boyd Glover Roundtop National Recreation Trail is splendid fun, and going for a hike along the Mule Creek Trail
| will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region. Lakes are such peaceful sites, why not take a look at Andys Lakes near Knife Edge Campground, and hey, Stub Creek is a wonderful local stream. coming back persistently. If you come at the right time of year, Lochsa River offers some fine whitewater; Nez Perce National Forest is a brilliant location to stretch your legs a bit. A visit to Idaho is not complete without some camping. All year is a fine time in the Clearwater
Mountains if you love the outdoors. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Selway River, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Elk Creek Trail. So much enjoyable stuff to do here in the Clearwater Mountains, too wonderful to
be true. Clearwater National Forest is a beautiful site any time of year, and on a tremendous day you can take a hike along the Anderson Butte National Recreation Trail. There's such a great deal of things to do at Knife Edge Campground including hiking, swimming, whitewater paddling, and fishing, so you won’t run out of things to do.
