This portion of Salmon River is proposed for whitewater paddlers of medium experience. Don't neglect to check conditions before you go whitewater kayaking and rafting to ensure your safety. A lake nearby is Elk Lake, and there's nice hiking along the Yellow Belly Trail. Just can't get enough of the Sawtooth Range. At Inlet Campground you can spot Elk Mountain, and going for a hike on the Bull Moose Trail is always a magnificent adventure. A campground like this is too glorious to miss.
