| | There is so much amusing stuff to do near Independence Campground; what a fine spot for camping it is. Be careful coming to the Bitterroot Range, you might not ever want to return home again. Couer d'Alene River - Big North Fork is a tremendous whitewater spot right next door to Independence Campground, and on a tremendous day you can take a hike along the Fearn Creek Trail.
All the nice local attractions close by and such a nice variety of outdoors recreation will undeniably have you coming back persistently. A campground like this is too great |
to miss.
Loads of folks stay at Independence Campground for the purpose of being close to Coeur d'Alene National Forest. Independence Campground is positioned in the Bitterroot Range. Why not explore nearby Trident Creek while you're here at Independence Campground, and going
| for a hike on the Larch Mountain Trail is always a tremendous adventure.
While dropping by this neighborhood in Idaho it's a fine idea to go camping for a couple of days too. You have to get out of the house; Independence Campground, Idaho is a fine spot for getting out. Near Independence Campground you stumble on the Boundary Peak Trail which is a great hiking trail, and picturesque scenery and great skiing is what you obtain at Silver Mountain.

here, and July meanwhile is the driest month. This campground is so great. In case you don’t mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Coeur d'Alene River; the Spyglass Miners Trail is a magnificent hiking trail close by.
High temperatures at Independence
Campground during the months of summer are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 40's. For the duration of the winter the highs are regularly in the 30's while Independence Campground overnight low temperatures throughout the winter are in the 20's.
Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this spot. Don't leave Independence Campground without going to Coeur d'Alene National Forest, and there are good places to look at along the Ermine Ridge Trail. That right there is a heap of fun things already but it goes on, the Bitterroot Range
has it all. A great place like Old Mission State Park in the neighborhood of Independence Campground is too brilliant to leave out, and whitewater paddling is perfect on Coeur d'Alene River.
