Ice Hole Campground, Salmon River Mountains, Idaho

  This camp ground is one of the brilliant places to camp here in the Salmon River Mountains. Some of the things you can do here at Ice Hole Campground are hiking, and whitewater paddling, so almost certainly you want to stick around. Good hiking is available along the Burnt Log Trail, and Johnson Creek is a magnificent whitewater spot nearby. For the period of the summer months at Ice Hole Campground highs are generally in the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the 30's. Throughout the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's, and after
    the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures at Ice Hole Campground plunge into the 0's.
This part of Idaho is always a diversion to stop at through camping season. Ice Hole Campground is a good site of typical precipitation; the month of January is the wettest with most
of the snow while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
So many local attractions and the nearby outdoors recreation are certain to keep you coming back again and again. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the enjoyable things at Ice Hole Campground. There is a tremendous hiking trail in close proximity to Ice Hole Campground called the Caton Lake Trail; a trip to Payette National Forest invigorates the soul. Yeah, come up here to the Salmon River Mountains for a great time.

on the Parks Peak Trail; why not a little side visit to Porcupine Creek.
There's such a large number of things to do close to Ice Hole Campground, and you always have a delightful time when you're here. Going for a hike on the Ditch Creek Trail is always a magnificent adventure, and whitewater paddling is fine on Johnson Creek.
All the outdoors exciting stuff in the Salmon River Mountains will keep you coming back time and again. Don't leave Ice Hole Campground without first going for a hike along the Buck Creek Trail, and in the event that you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Salmon River - East Fork of South Fork.
It's unhealthy to be inside all the time; you have to get out of the house every now and then, and Ice Hole Campground in Idaho is such a delightful place.
