If you come to this campground, you will have a perfect time for sure. Some of the water close by flows, like Bummer Creek, and the West Side Trail is a tremendous hiking trail close by. close to Homers Campground, and whitewater paddling is glorious on Deadwood River. Now, you may believe that's a heap but there's even more fun stuff to do here in the Salmon River Mountains. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Payette River - South Fork, and on a perfect day
| you can take a hike along the Whitehawk Basin Trail. If you have a thing about the outdoors, you won’t be disappointed; there's fishing, whitewater paddling, hiking, and swimming, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen. Get dripping wet paddling on Deadwood River, and close by you stumble on the Scott Mountain Driveway which is a brilliant hiking trail. spot this is for outdoors folks. A pleasant journey to Deadwood Basin is a great way to spend an afternoon, and if you get bored of Homers Campground you could also take a look at nearby Deadwood Reservoir. Don't leave Homers Campground without visiting Boise National Forest,
and going for a hike on the Wild Buck Trail is always a great adventure. Whohoo, so much enjoyable stuff in one place! The Salmon River Mountains rocks! A pleasant site like Cascade State Park near Homers Campground is too tremendous to leave out, and you can go for a hike on
the Gem County Stock Trail. If you've got cabin fever from too much time inside, No problem at all; Homers Campground in Idaho is exactly the place. All the glorious local attractions around here and the glorious variety of outdoors recreation will certainly have you coming
back many times. Summertime highs at Homers Campground usually tend to be in the 90's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's; all through the dark hours in the winter at Homers Campground temperatures descend to the 10's.
