Heyburn Mountain Campground, Idaho   Ok, you've been indoors for too much time, now's the time for going camping; Heyburn Mountain Campground in Idaho is such a wonderful site. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors enjoyable stuff the area near Heyburn Mountain Campground has to offer. Drift down the rapids of Salmon River in a kayak. Summertime highs at Heyburn Mountain Campground usually tend to be in the 70's; during summer nights temperatures are in the 30's. Highs during the winter are generally in the 20's, and nighttime lows at Heyburn Mountain Campground through the wintertime     generally drop into the-10's. Lakes? Sure, Saddleback Lakes is close by, and going for a hike on the Yellow Belly Trail is always a good adventure. If you come at the right time of year, Salmon River offers some glorious whitewater, and what would winter be without some skiing at Soldier Mountain Ski Resort. Not much rain falls here at Heyburn Mountain Campground; all through the month of December you get the most snow around here while July is commonly the driest month. A lot of people camp here to be close to Challis National Forest. It's not possible to get bored in Idaho if you go for the outdoors. So many local attractions and such a great variety of outdoors recreation will positively have you coming back persistently. Sawtooth National Forest is worth going to if you're at Heyburn Mountain Campground, and there is a   glorious hiking trail close by called the Bull Moose Trail. This is beyond doubt a perfect campground. Fishhook Creek is a magnificent spot to stop at; unsurprisingly, everybody loves Challis National Forest. There's so much stuff to do next to Heyburn Mountain Campground; camping is such an enjoyable thing to do, and this is a wonderful site to do that. There's loads of outdoors recreation available in the vicinity such as fishing, swimming, whitewater paddling, and hiking, so you won’t run out of things to do.
