| Creek. A lot of fun is at this campground. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Hazard Campground; Box Lake Trail is a fine local trail; Payette National Forest is a delightful site to check out. That right there is a heap of exciting stuff already but it goes on, the Salmon River Mountains has it all. Don't leave Hazard Campground without first going for a hike along the Broken Leg Trail, and spots like Ponderosa State Park are wonderful to stop at. local attractions and all the outdoors recreation are pleasant reasons to come. Be careful coming to the Salmon River Mountains, you might not ever wanna go home again. Go for a hike on the Lava Butte Trail, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always visit nearby
Hard Creek Lake. Quite a lot of entertaining stuff to do in the neighborhood of Hazard Campground, and it is one of many great campgrounds in this neighborhood. The slopes of Brundage Mountain are so inviting nobody can resist; some of the water close by flows, like Big Dave
Creek. What a spot this is for outdoors folks. Good hiking is available along the Crestline Trail; the top of Bruin Mountain is easily made out from Hazard Campground. Some folks stay at Hazard Campground throughout their tour to Ponderosa State Park. Got cabin fever from too much time indoors, Don't worry; Hazard Campground in Idaho is a great choice.
