| | A campground like this is too perfect to miss. Don't leave Hazard Campground without visiting Payette National Forest. Some of the things you can do here at Hazard Campground are whitewater paddling, fishing, swimming, and hiking, so you won’t run out of things to do. Not much rain falls here at Hazard Campground; most of the rain falls through May; July meanwhile is the driest month.

Campground. Hiking along the Crestline Trail is nice fun, and it's a brilliant idea to stop at Big Dave Creek. Scores of people camp here to be near Ponderosa State Park. Bruin Mountain can be made out from Hazard Campground, and Upper Hazard Lake is a nearby lake that you could
explore. And if that's not enough there's lots more entertaining stuff to do in the Salmon River Mountains. While you're here at Hazard Campground you can take a hike along the Fall Creek Trail, and if you come at the right time of year, Payette River - North Fork offers some tremendous whitewater.
