the dark hours in the wintertime at Hardscrabble Campground temperatures plunge to the 10's. That right there is plenty already, but it keeps on going; Hardscrabble Campground has it all. If you're going to Hardscrabble Campground from Cascade, you won't be the only one, and going for a hike along the Sixmile Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity.
