Salmon River Mountains, too tremendous to be true. Go for a hike on the Mule Hill Trail, and going for a hike on the Garden Creek Trail is always a good adventure. There's whitewater on Marsh Creek for all you adrenaline people; don't leave Guard Station Campground without first
going for a hike along the Monumental Trail. This is such a perfect campground. Challis National Forest is both wonderful and stunning, and it's in the vicinity of Guard Station Campground, and there's fine hiking along the Cougar Basin Trail. All year is a delightful time in the Salmon River Mountains if you go for the outdoors. There are fine places to discover along the Big Baldy Ridge Trail.
