There are some great whitewater spots on Salmon River - Yankee Fork; a wonderful place like Yankee Fork State Park is too tremendous to leave out. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining stuff at Greylock Campground. Camping out definitely is a pleasant thing to do; Greylock Campground in Idaho is exactly the place.
