If you like the outdoors, you won’t be dissatisfied; there's swimming, hiking, fishing, and whitewater paddling, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen. Reeder Lake is a nearby lake that you could go to; paddling on Sullivan River is so much fun. Summertime highs at Granite Creek Campground generally tend to be in the 80's with overnight lows in the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Granite Creek Campground. From a precipitation point of view Granite Creek Campground is a relatively common spot; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most snow, and the driest month is July. Packer Meadows is a brilliant spot to check out; the peak of Reeder Mountain can be made out from Granite Creek Campground. Granite Creek Campground is situated in a region with scores of cool stuff to do, and it is a glorious escape from everyday life. It's out of the question to get bored in Idaho if you go for the outdoors.
