leave Golden Gate Campground without first going for a hike along the Ditch Creek Trail. Golden Gate Campground is one of the sites to camp here in the Salmon River Mountains. Outdoors recreation is bountiful, some of the fun stuff you can do is hiking, and whitewater paddling,
so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen. A campground like this is too splendid to miss. Float down the rapids of Salmon River - East Fork of South Fork in a kayak, and the South Fork Sheep Creek Trail offers hiking at its best. Golden Gate Campground is
a good spot of normal rain; during the month of January you get the most snow around here while July is frequently the driest month. If you go for the outdoors you'll go for it here in the Salmon River Mountains. Get wet paddling on Johnson Creek, and going for a hike on the Parks Peak Trail is always a magnificent adventure.
