site for getting out. Summertime highs at Fog Mountain Campground typically tend to be in the 80's. Summer night lows descend down to the 50's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 30's, and night lows at Fog Mountain Campground during the winter frequently dip into
the 20's. Just can't get enough of the Clearwater Mountains. Lochsa River has a glorious whitewater paddling spot nearby, and there is a good hiking trail nearby called the Meadow Creek National Recreation Trail. The great variety of local attractions and all the outdoors recreation
are nice reasons to come. This camp ground is one of the good spots to camp here in the Clearwater Mountains. Going for a hike on the Anderson Butte National Recreation Trail is always a good adventure, and Nez Perce National Forest is a charming spot any time of year. Fog Mountain Campground is a good site of normal rain; January is the wettest month with most snow while July is usually the driest month.
