  The Clearwater Mountains scenery is always delightful. All the magnificent local attractions in the vicinity and the magnificent variety of outdoors recreation will definitely have you coming back time and again. So much amusing stuff near Emerald Creek Campground, and camping is such an enjoyable activity, and this is a perfect site to do that. Dworshak State Park is worth stopping at if you're at Emerald Creek Campground, and if you come at the right time of year, St. Maries River offers some perfect whitewater.

In Idaho you never run out of
    outdoors entertaining stuff. These mountains rock, just look at all the entertaining stuff to do in the Clearwater Mountains. Near Emerald Creek Campground you find the Sand Mountain Lookout Trail which is a fine hiking trail; the snow is nice at Silver Mountain.
Spending too
much time inside got you down, No problem at all; Emerald Creek Campground, Idaho is a perfect site for getting out. If you like the outdoors, you won’t be saddened; there's whitewater paddling, and hiking, so running out of enjoyable things to do won’t happen. Throughout the summer at Emerald Creek Campground temperatures are mostly in the 80's; the overnight is a bit cooler of course, generally in the 40's. All through the winter highs are typically in the 30's, and after the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures at Emerald Creek Campground fall  
into the 20's.
So much enjoyable stuff to do here at Emerald Creek Campground, too perfect to be true. The sight of Bechtel Butte from Emerald Creek Campground is beautiful, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Potlatch River.
This campground is a delightful place to stop by. There's some flowing water close by, East Fork Emerald Creek is a stream you can pop by during your stay, and you'll meet a lot of folks from Clarkia here. You truly have to love the Clearwater Mountains. Emerald Creek Campground gets a normal amount of annual rainfall; the month of January is the wettest with most of the snow; July on the other hand is the driest.
A trip to Emerald Creek Campground wouldn’t be complete without a visit to close by Old Mission State Park, and there's whitewater on St. Joe River - Marble Creek for all you adrenaline kick people.
