This campground is a delightful place to stop by. There's some flowing water close by, East Fork Emerald Creek is a stream you can pop by during your stay, and you'll meet a lot of folks from Clarkia here. You truly have to love the Clearwater Mountains. Emerald Creek Campground
gets a normal amount of annual rainfall; the month of January is the wettest with most of the snow; July on the other hand is the driest. A trip to Emerald Creek Campground wouldn’t be complete without a visit to close by Old Mission State Park, and there's whitewater on St. Joe River - Marble Creek for all you adrenaline kick people.
