This is in fact a good campground. There are other spots here than Elk Bar Campground, for example Falconberry Lake. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Stoddard Trail, and Salmon National Forest is a delightful spot any time of year. Don't leave Elk Bar Campground without first going for a hike along the Goat Creek Trail. Go for a hike on the Waterfall Trail.
