| | If you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Pack River, and the Katka Peak Trail offers hiking at its best. This campground is so striking. Whitewater paddling is great on Kootenai, and Deep Creek Campground is not far at all from Bonners Ferry. This is truly a splendid campground. The snow is magnificent at Schweitzer, and splendid hiking is available along the Upper North Fork Grouse Creek Trail. is usually a pretty arid location; through the month of November you get the most rain around here, and the driest of the months is July. Go for a hike on the White Mountain Trail, and lakes are such serene spots, why not pop by Dennick Lake. Deep Creek Campground is a popular
| spot with people of Bonners Ferry. I don't want to stop, cause I'm havin' a tremendous time here at Deep Creek Campground. Fall Creek is a good local stream; Round Lake State Park is a fine site. Quite a lot of enjoyable things to do in close proximity to Deep Creek Campground, and it's one of those places where everything is good. and there's wonderful hiking along the Grouse Mountain Trail. The peak of Round Mountain can be made out from Deep Creek Campground; a great location for whitewater paddling is Pack River. Throughout the summer months highs here at Deep Creek Campground reach the 80's. For
the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 40's. Throughout the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Deep Creek Campground descend into the 20's.
