Deadman Campground, Salmon River Mountains, Idaho

  A number of people stay at Deadman Campground during their journey to Payette National Forest. It's impossible to get bored in Idaho if you have a thing about the outdoors. That right there is lots of enjoyable stuff already but it goes on, the Salmon River Mountains has it all. There are tremendous locations to explore along the Log Mountain Trail; Salmon River - East Fork of South Fork has a glorious whitewater paddling spot nearby. Outdoors recreation is plentiful, some of the amusing stuff you can do is whitewater paddling, and hiking, so most likely
    you want to stick around.
Be careful coming to the Salmon River Mountains, you might not ever want to return home again. When you're here at Deadman Campground it's always fun to visit Payette National Forest, and going for a hike on the Eagle Rock Trail is always a fine adventure.
There's so much to do close to Deadman Campground; spending time at this campground is extremely fun. At Deadman Campground all through the months of summer highs are in the 70's with nighttime lows in the 30's. During the winter the highs are typically in the 30's while Deadman Campground nighttime low temperatures during the winter are in the 0's.
This campground is a charming spot to stop by. Whitewater paddling is great on Salmon River - South Fork, and there is a brilliant hiking trail close by called the South Fork Sheep Creek Trail. The good
 
variety of local attractions and all the outdoors recreation are certain to keep you coming back over and over.
On a great day at Deadman Campground you can take a hike along the Camp Creek Cutoff Trail; Deadman Bar is also a great place to look at. The Salmon River Mountains scenery is always charming.
Having a good time at Deadman Campground is simple. If the weather is nice here at Deadman Campground, you can go for a hike along the Indian Ridge Trail, and Phoebe Meadow is a pretty spot any time of year.
At this campground you will always have a splendid time. Ponderosa State Park is a good spot to stretch your legs a bit.
Paddling on Salmon River - South Fork is so much fun, and there's some flowing water nearby, Deadman Creek is a stream you can have a look at while you're here. The amount of rainfall that falls at Deadman Campground is close to the national average; the month of January is the wettest with most of the snow; the driest month is July.
