Crags Campground, Salmon River Mountains, Idaho   This camp ground is positioned in the pretty Salmon River Mountains. Get your pulse rate up on the good whitewater of Panther Creek, and you can go for a hike on the Waterfall Trail. So many entertaining things near Crags Campground, and it's always fun being here. Lots of people stay at this campground for the purpose of being in the vicinity of Salmon National Forest. That right there is lots of cool stuff already but it goes on, the Salmon River Mountains has it all. Golden Trout Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop by, and going for     a hike on the Gant Ridge Trail is always a great adventure. A good site like Painted Rocks State Park near Crags Campground is too wonderful to leave out, and during your spree here you'll meet some people from Shoup for sure. Idaho is a pleasant spot for outdoors folks. As if Crags Campground wasn't enough, you can also go swimming, whitewater paddling, fishing, and hiking, so running out of entertaining things to do won’t happen. Crags Campground is regularly a reasonably arid place; most of the rain falls through June; February is when it's the driest. Summertime highs at Crags Campground mostly tend to be in the 80's, and through   the night it cools down to the 40's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 20's with temperatures at Crags Campground dipping down into the 0's through winter nights. You'll in fact wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the enjoyable stuff in the Salmon River Mountains. Good hiking is available along the Crags Trail; you can run the rapids of Camas Creek. This campground is a pretty place to have a look at. Don't leave Crags Campground without dropping by Salmon National Forest, and Frog Meadows is a great spot here at Crags Campground. At this campground you will always have a tremendous time. There are tremendous places to discover along the Clear Creek Trail. The great local attractions and the nearby outdoors recreation will without doubt have you coming back repeatedly. Crags Campground is a very popular campground with people in Shoup.
