Of course, whitewater   kayaking and rafting is enjoyable but hazardous; check current conditions in advance of a trip. Some nearby water includes Alex Creek, and a great place like Ponderosa State Park is too good to leave out. Having a great time in the Salmon River Mountains is trouble-free.
