Soar down the rapids of Salmon River in a kayak, and if you come at the right time of year, Salmon River offers some pleasant whitewater. This campground is so pleasant. The slopes of Soldier Mountain are so inviting noone can resist, and Chinook Bay Campground is right next door to Sunny Gulch which is undeniably worth going to. At Chinook Bay Campground during the summertime highs are in the 70's. |
