    Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 30's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Chinook Bay Campground dip into the-10's. Some activities here at Chinook Bay Campground are swimming,
fishing, whitewater paddling, and hiking, so it's completely out of the question to get bored. There are so many entertaining things to do in the vicinity of Chinook Bay Campground; what a splendid site for camping it is.

Hiking is a popular thing to do around Chinook Bay Campground; Yellow Belly Trail is a wonderful local trail, and swing by Fishhook Creek it's a good place to pop by. If you are in Idaho through camping season, you should go camping. It is very dehydrated here at Chinook Bay Campground generally; December is the month that gets the most snow while July is mostly the driest month.
A campground like this is too pleasant to miss.
Having a good time at Chinook Bay Campground is simple. There are some great whitewater spots on Salmon River, and when you're here it's always fun to go to Sawtooth National Forest. Chinook Bay Campground is a campground reasonably frequently visited by the residents of Stanley.
