These mountains rock, just check out all the amusing stuff to do in the Sawtooth Range. Payette River - South Fork. At this campground you will always have a pleasant time. This campground is a scenic spot to visit. There's some flowing water close by, Warbois Creek is a stream you can go to while you're here; good hiking is available along the Sheep Drive Trail.
| It is very dried up here at Chaparral Campground regularly; throughout January this area sees the most snow, and July meanwhile is the driest month. Forest is a glorious idea. There's delightful hiking along the Black Warrior Creek Trail, and get your heart pumping on the great whitewater of Boise River - North Fork. Outdoors recreation is bountiful, some of the exciting stuff you can do is hiking, and whitewater paddling,
so you won’t run out of things to do. At Chaparral Campground all through the warm days of summer highs are in the 90's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 50's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 30's; throughout the dark hours in the winter at Chaparral Campground temperatures fall to the 10's.
