Summertime highs at Canyon Campground regularly tend to be in the 90's. Summer overnight lows drop down to the 50's. along the Little Sage Hen Ridge Trail. Canyon Campground is regularly a reasonably dry site; the month with most of the rain is November; the driest of the months is July. With so much to do in Idaho you'll never get bored. Canyon Campground is a place with many visitors
from Banks, and a good site for whitewater paddling is Payette River - North Fork. If you come to this campground, you will have a great time for sure. If the weather is fine here at Canyon Campground, you can go for a hike along the Dry Buck Mountain Trail, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Payette River - North Fork.
