  At Canyon Campground fun stuff to do is bountiful, and it definitely is a tremendous campground. Some folks camp here so they can go to Boise National Forest. Get your camping stuff packed and head out on the road; Canyon Campground is a tremendous local campground if you happen to be in Idaho. Canyon Campground is one of the sites to camp here in the Salmon River Mountains.
As if Canyon Campground wasn't enough, you can also go swimming, fishing, hiking, and whitewater paddling, so it's out of the question to get bored. All year is a great time in
    the Salmon River Mountains if you go for the outdoors. While you're here at Canyon Campground you can take a hike along the Big Eddy Trail; spots like Boise National Forest are fine to check out.
I can't stop, cause I'm havin' a good time here at Canyon Campground. There is
a magnificent hiking trail in close proximity to Canyon Campground called the Pine Creek Meadow Trail, and naturally Williams Creek is a beautiful stream that is worth taking a look at. Such a pleasant choice of attractions and the pleasant variety of outdoors recreation are guaranteed to keep you coming back again and again. Summertime highs at Canyon Campground regularly tend to be in the 90's. Summer overnight lows drop down to the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Canyon Campground  
plunge into the 10's.
So many cool things to do here in the Salmon River Mountains, too good to be true. You're probably interested in lakes, Mud Lake is one of those nearby; get your heart pumping on the perfect whitewater of Payette River. Cascade State Park is a great place to stop at; going for a hike on the Shirts Creek Trail is always a good adventure.
Canyon Campground is often visited by the folks from Banks. This campground has so unbelievably much. Really great skiing awaits you at Bogus Basin, and on a pleasant day you can take a hike along the Little Sage Hen Ridge Trail.
Canyon Campground is regularly a reasonably dry site; the month with most of the rain is November; the driest of the months is July.
With so much to do in Idaho you'll never get bored. Canyon Campground is a place with many visitors from Banks, and a good site for whitewater paddling is Payette River - North Fork. If you come to this campground, you will have a great time for sure. If the weather is fine here at Canyon Campground, you can go for a hike along the Dry Buck Mountain Trail, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Payette River - North Fork.
