    don’t mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Johnson Creek, and you can go for a hike on the McClure Trail. During the warmest time of the year here at Buck Mountain Campground, high temperatures commonly reach the 70's. Once the sun is down it falls down
to the 30's. Throughout the wintertime highs are typically in the 30's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Buck Mountain Campground fall into the 0's. This is such a beautiful campground.
Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining things in the Salmon River Mountains. There's good hiking along the Trout Creek Trail, and there are good sites to explore along the Rock Creek Trail. There is so much amusing stuff close to Buck Mountain Campground, and it is a very great campground.

You can run the rapids of Johnson Creek near Buck Mountain Campground; a trip to Boise National Forest is a tremendous idea.
Camping out certainly is a fun thing to do, and Buck Mountain Campground in Idaho is exactly what you need. The amount of precipitation that falls at Buck Mountain Campground is close to the national average; January is when you get the most snow here, and July meanwhile is the driest month. The Salmon River Mountains scenery is always beautiful.
If you love the outdoors, you won’t be saddened; there's hiking, and whitewater paddling, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen. At Buck Mountain Campground you can observe Buck Mountain, and a splendid site like Payette National Forest is too fine to leave out.
Lunch Creek flows through this region; good hiking is available along the Buck Creek Trail.
