Black Lee Campground, Salmon River Mountains, Idaho

  A lot of people stay at this campground when they come to stop at Ponderosa State Park. Such a good pick of attractions and the good variety of outdoors recreation are fine incentives to come.
Among the things you can do near Black Lee Campground are swimming, fishing, whitewater paddling, and hiking, so it's not possible to get bored. Summertime highs at Black Lee Campground typically tend to be in the 90's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 50's. There is so much amusing stuff to do close to Black Lee Campground, and it is a fun place for young and old. While you're here at Black Lee Campground you can take a hike along the Boulder Driveway Trail, and whitewater paddling is great on Payette River - North Fork.
But wait, there's more cool stuff to do in the Salmon
 
River Mountains. Take a hike on the Box Lake Trail; a trip here wouldn’t be complete without a visit to nearby Ponderosa State Park.
So many cool things to do at Black Lee Campground, so little time. Hiking along the Fall Creek Trail is great fun; if the weather is delightful, you get a wonderful panorama of Snowslide Peak from Black Lee Campground. This is such a fun spot for a campground. Black Lee Creek is one of the streams close by that might be worth checking out; as expected, this is a splendid area for folks who like lakes, Box Lake is a lake in close proximity.
Going for a hike along the Crestline Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity; a good location like Payette National Forest is too great to leave out. Black Lee Campground is a good camp ground to use as a base while enjoying the Salmon River Mountains. Black Lee Campground is typically a quite dried out place; during May this area sees the most rain, and the driest month of the year is July.
