Big Creek Campground, Bitterroot Range, Idaho   Big Creek Campground is one of the locations to camp here in the Bitterroot Range. Near Big Creek Campground you come across the Prince Peak Trail which is a delightful hiking trail, and unsurprisingly East Fork Big Creek flows through this area. Don't stop me now, cause I'm havin' a good time here at Big Creek Campground. Good hiking is available along the Holmes Trail, and you can never get enough of the magnificent skiing at Silver Mountain. You'll truly wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing things in the Bitterroot Range. You'll meet     a lot of folks from Calder here, and Coeur d'Alene River - Little North Fork has a delightful whitewater paddling spot close by. This campground has so much fun stuff to offer. Go for a hike on the West Fork Slate Divide Trail; you absolutely should take a look at Old Mission State Park if you're here. Big Creek Campground is a very popular old favorite campground among the folks from Calder. If you like the outdoors, you won’t be dissatisfied; there's hiking, and whitewater paddling, so it's not possible to get bored. For the duration of the long summer days, highs usually are in the 80's at Big Creek Campground while night lows are commonly in the 50's. For the duration of the winter this place gets highs in the 30's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Big Creek Campground sink into the 20's. An   average amount of precipitation falls at Big Creek Campground; January is when you get the most snow here, and July on the other hand is the driest. Such a wonderful pick of attractions and such a wonderful variety of outdoors recreation will make you pleased you came. That right there is loads of fun stuff already but it goes on, the Bitterroot Range has it all. Don't leave Big Creek Campground without first going for a hike along the Upper Slate Creek Trail; in case you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on St. Joe River - Marble Creek. Going for a hike on the Ally Point Trail is always a great adventure; a journey to Coeur d'Alene National Forest when you're here is never a bad idea. Got cabin fever from too much time indoors, No problem; Big Creek Campground is a magnificent local campground if you happen to be in Idaho. If you come to this campground, you will have a brilliant time for sure. Whitewater paddling is wonderful on Coeur d'Alene River.
