Bear Campground, Wallowa Mountains, Idaho

There's perfect hiking along the Old Boise Trail, and you can hit the slopes at Brundage Mountain around here. Having a splendid time in the Wallowa Mountains is trouble-free. Good hiking
    is available along the Red Ledge Trail, and Placer Basin is a magnificent spot here at Bear Campground.
Going for a hike on the Deep Creek Trail is always a great adventure, and if you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Snake River. But
wait, there's more cool stuff to do in the Wallowa Mountains. If you're here at Bear Campground, you could take a look at Little Bear Creek, and Bessie Gulch is also a good place to explore.
It is very dried out here at Bear Campground ordinarily; May is when you get the most rain here; July on the other hand is the driest. It's not possible to get bored in Idaho if you love the outdoors.
This campground has so much exciting stuff to offer. Go for a hike on the Sheep Rock National Recreation Trail; Little Salmon River has a nice whitewater paddling
 
spot nearby. Bear Campground is a good camp ground to use as a base while enjoying the Wallowa Mountains.
There is so much fun stuff to do right next door to Bear Campground, and to be at this campground is tremendous fun any time. There are good locations to discover along the Rapid River Trail, and Wildhorse River is a splendid whitewater spot nearby.
The perfect variety of local attractions and the perfect variety of outdoors recreation are great reasons to come. All through the warm months, highs frequently are in the 90's at Bear Campground. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 50's. Highs all through the wintertime are generally in the 40's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Bear Campground temperatures descend to the 20's.
