Bear Campground, Wallowa Mountains, Idaho Custom Search   Ok, you've been cooped up too long, it's time to go camping, and Bear Campground, Idaho is a nice spot for getting out. Such a splendid selection of attractions and such a splendid variety of outdoors recreation will make you pleased you came. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Wallowa Mountains. You could also check out Lake Winifred while you're here at Bear Campground; it's nearby, and paddling on Snake River is so much fun. The Wallowa Mountains scenery is always pretty. Around Bear Campground you don’t get a lot of rainfall; May is when you     get the most rain here, and July on the other hand is the driest. But wait, there's more cool stuff to do in the Wallowa Mountains. There is a good hiking trail next to Bear Campground called the Rapid River Trail, and some nearby water includes Little Bear Creek. That right there is loads already, but it goes on; Bear Campground has it all. Bear Campground is close to Bessie Gulch which is positively worth visiting, and a pleasant tour to Placer Basin is a pleasant way to spend an afternoon. Brundage Mountain has nice slopes and a friendly staff; going for a hike on the Sheep Rock National Recreation Trail is always a splendid adventure. Summertime highs at Bear Campground regularly tend to be in the 90's while overnight lows are typically in the 50's. During the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's, and winter   nights come with lows in the 20's to Bear Campground. There's plenty of outdoors recreation available close by such as whitewater paddling, swimming, fishing, and hiking, so it's not possible to get bored. Bear Campground is situated in a vicinity with scores of amusing things to do, and it positively is a nice campground. Camping in Idaho is such an enjoyable thing to do. If you come to this campground, you will have a great time for sure. Don't leave Bear Campground without first going for a hike along the Old Boise Trail. This campground has so many cool things to offer. On a fine day at Bear Campground you can take a hike along the Deep Creek Trail, and Wildhorse River has a brilliant whitewater paddling spot nearby. There are great places to look at along the Red Ledge Trail, and get dripping wet paddling on Little Salmon River.
