the Rapid River Trail, and Wildhorse River is a splendid whitewater spot nearby. The perfect variety of local attractions and the perfect variety of outdoors recreation are great reasons to come. All through the warm months, highs frequently are in the 90's at Bear Campground.
When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 50's. Highs all through the wintertime are generally in the 40's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Bear Campground temperatures descend to the 20's.
