The wonderful variety of local attractions and the wonderful variety of outdoors recreation are brilliant motives to come. to do at Bear Campground including whitewater paddling, and hiking, so you won’t get bored. Summertime at Bear Campground comes with high temperatures in the 90's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. High temperatures through the wintertime
are normally in the 40's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Bear Campground plunge into the 20's. A tour to Bessie Gulch is always fun; if the weather is wonderful, you can go for a hike along the Deep Creek Trail. Don’t forget to have a look at Placer Basin since you're here at Bear Campground, and the skiing at Brundage Mountain is great.
