It's impossible to run out of enjoyable things to do near Bear Campground; it is a delightful campground. If you are in Idaho during camping season, you should go camping. This campground is so magnificent. Good hiking is available along the Deep Creek Trail; you can run the rapids of Little Salmon River.

A campground like this is too magnificent to miss. Bear Campground is
    right by the Red Ledge Trail.
It is very dry here at Bear Campground regularly; May is the wettest month with most rain while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. If you go for the outdoors you'll go for it here in the Wallowa Mountains. Placer Basin is
a nice place to stretch your legs a bit, and it's a wonderful idea to visit Little Bear Creek. The Wallowa Mountains scenery is always pretty.
Finally, it's time to go camping once more, and Bear Campground in Idaho is a delightful selection. There's whitewater on Snake River for all you adrenaline rush seekers, and hiking along the Old Boise Trail is great fun.
So many exciting things to do here at Bear Campground, too good to be true. Bessie Gulch is a pleasant place to explore close to Bear Campground, and there are some good whitewater spots
 
on Wildhorse River. All the magnificent local attractions nearby and all the outdoors recreation will beyond doubt have you coming back persistently. This location, the Wallowa Mountains, has so much outdoors enjoyable stuff. The Sheep Rock National Recreation Trail offers hiking at its best; a day on the slopes of Brundage Mountain is just what you need.
Summertime brings highs in the 90's to Bear Campground with overnight lows in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's while Bear Campground overnight low temperatures all through the wintertime are in the 20's. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Bear Campground; Rapid River Trail is a fine local trail, and a lake close by is Lake Winifred.
