We must all go for a camping trip occasionally, and Aquarius Campground in Idaho is such a good place. St. Joe National Forest is a good site to stretch your legs a bit; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always visit close by Black Lake. At Aquarius Campground cool stuff to do is plentiful, and you always have a good time when you're here. |

As if Aquarius Campground wasn't sufficient, you can also go swimming, whitewater paddling, hiking, and fishing, so there's absolutely no way to get bored. This is really a pleasant campground. There is a good hiking trail close to Aquarius Campground called the Rukgaber Trail, and if you come at the right time of year, Clearwater River - North Fork offers some great whitewater. time in the Clearwater Mountains if you fancy the outdoors. Lookout Pass is a fine local ski area, and get your pulse rate up on the magnificent whitewater of St. Joe River. An average amount of rain falls at Aquarius Campground; all through January this area sees the most snow
while July is mostly the driest month. During the summertime months here at Aquarius Campground, high temperatures mostly get into the 80's while night lows are generally in the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's, and throughout the dark hours in
the wintertime at Aquarius Campground temperatures dip to the 20's. The Clearwater Mountains scenery is always scenic. The Old Montana Trail is a good hiking trail in the neighborhood of Aquarius Campground, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Clearwater River - Little North Fork. With such an incredible array of things to do in Idaho you'll never get bored.
