This campground has so much exciting stuff to offer. A trip to Water Creek Campground wouldn’t be complete without a spree to close by Chattahoochee National Forest, and from Water Creek Campground you obtain a delightful panorama of Rock Spring Top. It's completely out of the question to get bored in Georgia if you love the outdoors. Be careful coming to the Blue Ridge Mountains, you might not ever want to go home again. Going for a hike on the Whitly     Gap Trail is always a great adventure; Vogel State Park is worth going to. There are so many fun things to do in the neighborhood of Water Creek Campground; it is one of a lot of great campgrounds in this area. Man, is there lots of entertaining stuff to do in the vicinity of Water Creek Campground. At Water Creek Campground during the summertime highs are in the 80's. All through the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's, and overnight lows at Water Creek Campground throughout the wintertime usually sink into the 20's. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. There are some splendid whitewater spots on Dicks Creek, and there is a wonderful hiking trail close by called the Black Mountain Trail. A lake nearby is Dollar Lake, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but   if it's for you then, we recommend Frogtown Creek. That right there is plenty of exciting stuff already but it goes on, the Blue Ridge Mountains has it all. There's whitewater on Dicks Creek for all you adrenaline people, and Dollar Lake Dam is a charming location. As if Water Creek Campground wasn't sufficient, you can also go fishing, whitewater paddling, swimming, and hiking, so in all probability you want to stay for a while. Don't leave Water Creek Campground without first going for a hike along the Appalachian National Scenic Trail, and if you're visiting from Cleveland, you won't be the only one. Lots of people stay here when they come to check out Vogel State Park. Water Creek Campground is a wet spot that gets a large amount of rain; the month of March is the wettest with most of the rain while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This camp ground is one of the splendid places to camp here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. This campground is so great. Go for a hike on the Coosa Backcountry Trail, and there's some flowing water nearby, Dicks Creek is a stream you can have a look at while you're here. Finally, camping time is here again; Water Creek Campground in Georgia is precisely what you need. The DeSoto Falls Trail is a good hiking trail in the vicinity of Water Creek Campground; Hester Gap is a nice place to spend some time.
