  You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors exciting stuff the Blue Ridge Mountains has to offer. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Sky Valley, and a glorious place for whitewater paddling is Coleman River. Life's too short to enjoy all the fun stuff in the neighborhood of Tate Branch Campground. The Stewart Trail offers hiking at its best, and this is a popular location for folks from Cornelia. If you are in Georgia during camping season, you must go camping.

There is so much amusing stuff to do in the neighborhood of Tate Branch Campground, and spending time at this campground is very pleasant. Have a brilliant hiking adventure along the Rufus Morgan Trail, and here at Tate Branch Campground you can catch a sight of River Mountain.
There's heaps of outdoors recreation available nearby such as hiking, and whitewater paddling, so perhaps you want to stay for a while. This is such a good campground. Hiking along the Thorn Mountain Trail is tremendous fun, and Black Rock Mountain State Park is a great location.
All through the summer here at Tate Branch Campground, high temperatures usually reach the 80's, and the overnight is slightly cooler of course, regularly in the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's while Tate Branch Campground overnight low temperatures through the winter are in the 20's. The high level of rain makes Tate Branch Campground a pretty wet place; all through March this area sees the most rain while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
